Zermatt

The inspiration for this room was found during the renovation of the historic house, when we unveiled a massive sandrock wall. So we furnished the bedroom with oak bed and cupboard, a milk can as an umbrella stand and a hay rake as coat rack. The washstand in the bathroom is made from a big granite stone and stands on a wooden rack in front of a wall of broken stones. A big mirror framed with rough-hewn wood completes the flair of a mountain-lodge in the Swiss Alps.
